Robert Sackey is the newly appointed Head Coach for the Black Princesses, Ghana’s U20 Women’s National Team. He has experience with youth and high school teams as well as the woman’s semi-pro team, the San Francisco Nighthawks, and the Ghana Men’s and Women’s National Teams, the Black Stars and the Black Queens. In California, Robert is currently the Head Coach for the U15 Girls Mavericks team and trains the rest of the 22 other Mavericks Teams.
MAVERICKS CLASS 1 YOUTH TEAMS
Robert Sackey is the Technical Director for ACCYSL Mavericks competitive soccer program for ages U10 – U19. He selects coaches and and oversees the training and development of all teams.
- The U12 Girls Mavericks placed 1st in their Golden State Soccer League flight for Fall 2006.

They advanced in all tournaments they entered, winning both the Stockton Fall Classic Tournament and the Chico Sprys Tournament and placed third at the Castro Valley Shootout. In the Placer Foothill Cup in October 2006 they gave up only one goal, losing the championship game 1-0 to FC Crush, a team from Seattle Washington.
The U17 Girls Mavericks Blue team played in the Golden State Soccer League and won 2 tournaments in fall 2005, one in Las Vegas, Nevada as well as the Placer Foothill Cup in October 2005. The core of this team of girls has been coached by Robert Sackey since U13 age group and have taken home many CYSA tournament trophies as well as indoor soccer championships. Every player on the team that tried out for a high school varsity team made it onto a varsity team as freshmen players. Seven players were selected onto the Olympic Development Program’s District team, and goalie, Alexandra Krzyzoziak, was accepted onto the Olympic Development Program’s State team.

HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER
Robert Sackey developed a varsity soccer program for both the boys and girls at Head Royce School in Oakland. CA. He worked with the boys program for 7 years and the girls program for 3 years.
At El Cerrito High School, in El Cerrito CA, he developed and coached the girls varsity program. The ECHS Gauchos placed 2nd in their league for winter season 2002-03. Mr Sackey coached at ECHS for 12 years, and has recently left that position to make time for other teams.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
In January, 2004, Robert began coaching the San Francisco Nighthawks, the Women’s Premier League (WPSL).
On March 17, 2004, the Nighthawks had the opportunity to play against the Japanese National Team at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco, CA. They finished first in the Golden Gate Women’s Premiere Division for the Fall 2006. For more information please visit the Nighthawk’s website: www.sfnighthawks.com
